We provide three VHF Channels for the boating community in the Canterbury and Kaikoura regions.
- The Repeaters we own, maintain and operate are on channel 60, 63 & 04
- CH60 covers Kaikoura, North & South
- CH63 covers Banks Peninsula, North & South
- CH04 covers Akaroa Harbour and the Southern Bays of Banks Peninsula
This gives coverage from Tory Channel to Timaru.

Venue- Mount Pleasant Yacht Club, 21 Main Road Redcliffs, upstairs meeting room just past the Cob Cottage/Ferrymead Bridge, commencing at 7.30 p.m. Monday 28th May
Channel 60 and 63 are now monitored by "Monks Bay Radio". Contact them for radio checks and 'TR' Reports, etc.
For long Distance travel log your TR with NZ Maritime Radio on channel 16.
All emergency calls should also be placed on channel 16.

Membership of the Association
Membership of The Canterbury Maritime VHF Association can be obtained by completing our application form with the appriopiate subscription. The Association is dependent upon subscription income for both the continuance and improvement of the facilities that it provides.
Members of The Canterbury Maritime VHF Association may use any of the Associations repeaters. They may also be used by the members of any other similar association and by any person in an emergency.
